Description of Work Undertaken
Phoenix Interiors completed the £150,000 fit out of level six of Aldgate House, the impressive new London headquarters of international construction company ISG.
Phoenix Interiors installed new gridwork, but used the tiles from the existing SAS system 130 metal lay-in ceiling system with the existing Moduline single slot air grilles running through the ceiling repositioned to make them fit within the new office configuration.
To create the impression of "skylights", an opaque stretched fabric membrane was installed into "light boxes" with light fittings mounted behind this material to enhance the illusion.
Plasterboard soffits and margins were installed to create modular meeting spaces, reception areas and corridors. Within the reception areas and meeting spaces a bespoke metal lighting trough painted black to blend with the contemporary décor was installed.
